This message is part II. to the message Knowing God I. —
The Enemy would always wish to “talk into” the faith of the believer. Jesus Christ is the same, Who he was on the cross, and He is not about to change, Why would we then?
When you can keep running the race despite all the reasons in the world to quit it, it is greater grace. When you stay on course, God can give you a new meaning to all things, and show stuff, you didn’t even know existed.
(Eph 2:1-7, 1Cor 13:4-8)
God wishes to make much out of man. Much more than anything else.
He has no methods, but people.
(Psa 8:3-5; Acts 14:17, 17:28; 1Cor 13:11-13; Eph 4:13; Heb 2:5,16)
This discussion was held in connection with the message Called to An Abundant Life & Slave by Love.
(November 13. 2016, Sunday)
It is possible to think of abundance by someone having a lot of money or cars and everything goes well in their lives. But the abundant life Jesus was speaking about has nothing to do with this world or our circumstances. Do not be satisfied with the manna!
(Jn 10:10b; Deut 8:2-3)
What does define spirituality? Who is spiritual? What do we know about the commandments?
(Gal 5.; 1Cor 12:31; Jn 13:34-35)
Salvation plan to save mankind – God’s pursuit was to save people. This is the love of God, this is His mercy. He wants everyone to be saved. That is why He Himself provided. He did everything He could do because He wanted to be sure. Well is it possible to add anything to it?
(Isa 5:4; Ez 18:32, 33:11; Jn 6:47; Eph 1:13, 2:8-9; Acts 17:30; 1Tim 2:4; 2Pt 2:4; 1Jn 4:9, 5:13)
Misery can be scary for us. In times like these we have the intention: Let’s make it clear! Well, it is better to let God do that.
(1Sam 1:4-10; Psa 50:15)
There were two categories of sinners. The cross, Jesus puts everyone into the same category. Because in this category there is sacrifice and this sacrifice has been already sacrificed for us. What does this mean in our relationship with God and with people?
(Num 15:24-31; Luk 23:34; 1Tim 1:13; Acts 7:59-60; 2Tim 4:16; 1Jn 1:9; 1Pt 5:5-7; James 4:10)
This discussion was held in connection with the message There Is a River & And I Pray That Your Love May Abound All The More.
(October 19. 2016, Sunday)
There is a river that is unseen but it can be found. It is not only able to turn your attention away from the circumstances but also able to save your spiritual life.
We love those stories with happy endings in our lives when we know that I had nothing to do with it. But we know well: Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. What was Paul’s prayer that was so important for the Holy Spirit? Could it be our prayer as well?
(Luk 5:12-13; Phili 1:8-11)
This discussion was held in connection with the message The Outcome of The Presence of God & Love Loves to Love.
(October 9. 2016, Sunday)
The environment, the culture has an influence but these do not bring great changes. The church is the right environment for us. But the perfect environment in itself does not guarantee spirituality. How deep can the Word of God go in your heart?
(1 Sam 3:1)
People can be influenced in 3 ways – pressure, bearing, drawing. Drawing operates by love. This love is our greatest need. What kind of love is this? What are the characteristics of it?
(Gen 14.; 2 Kings 5.; Song of Solomon 3:5; Hos 14:4; Sof 3:17)
Mt 6:5-8 – four principles on prayer based on Jesus’ teachings
Bible – the heart of God. Holiness and grace – what do they mean in the Scripture? What do you think of how God looks at you?
(Mt 9:36, 12:7, 19:25-26, 17:5, 20:28; Jn 5:24, 6:39-40, 10:27-29, 16:27; 1Jn 4:9-10; Gal 1:10-12, 2:16,21, 4:21, 5:4,7-8)
…we had a desire to have this huge celebration, a holy gathering, to come together and fall on our knees before the Lord, our Creator. To gather and merry in the presence of the Lord and to worship Him together. Let’s come together and let’s sit at the feet of Jesus to listen to Him and to His Word. Let’s come together and let’s express by this that we belong together and that God has made us one body one family one people.
