Misery can be scary for us. In times like these we have the intention: Let’s make it clear! Well, it is better to let God do that.
(1Sam 1:4-10; Psa 50:15)
There were two categories of sinners. The cross, Jesus puts everyone into the same category. Because in this category there is sacrifice and this sacrifice has been already sacrificed for us. What does this mean in our relationship with God and with people?
(Num 15:24-31; Luk 23:34; 1Tim 1:13; Acts 7:59-60; 2Tim 4:16; 1Jn 1:9; 1Pt 5:5-7; James 4:10)

What do you base the way you view the things of life? Do you evaluate things in a system of right and wrong? That system is both powerful and fearful. There is another option provided by God for us. Cats right themselves while falling. How? What two things must we also do as we fall? […]
Our world overloads us, and as a result we have dissatisfaction and stress. We may form defenses against incoming information, or we may fight against it. The other option is to trust in God, and learn to have an expectation of Him. (Phil 4:11, 1Tim 6:6) David was confident he will overcome Goliath because he […]

The work of God is constant even when there is no special visible effect. This is because hhis work is in the hearts. (Col 4:9, Phil 1:12, 4:22) Evil is real in this world. Goodness is just not enough to stop evil. If good people become evil to fight evil, then evil has conquered them. […]
Man has fallen, and cannot save himself. Still we attempt to please God by our own strength and ability. The law judges us, but the law is not all powerful. Jesus has supernatural power and right to act for us, on the foundation of love. Love gives so far beyond what any law may demand. […]
The cross is historical, and with the Bible they form the foundation of Christianity, therefore they are either persecuted, or belittled. No worries though, today’s mockery will be resolved to the advantage of Christianity – as always. However, if the cross is history, if it really did take place, if God truly took care of […]
Conscience doesn’t lie. How are our decisions made, by what process do we get to them? Sin may block the flow of truth. (Col 1:10) The world has a faulty concept of sin. Yet sin is so real, it robs me and I must learn to deal with it. For that, I need to learn […]
What is your life all about? Don’t get lost in knowledge! You may only answer by wisdom that gets renewed always, a revelation from the Holy Spirit with understanding. We need a fresh understanding. How do we get “released” from the Old Sin Nature, and what is completely unnecessary? (Eph 1:16-18, Ro 6:6-8,12-13, 1Jo 3:2)
God seeks those those, who learned that they need something beyond the earthly. Our relationship with Him is our new environment for every relationship. (Psa 14:1-2) The seven statements of Jesus on the cross each bespeak His heart. None of them are irrelevant, and it is amazing that He could say it each. As believers […]
The cross is not comprehended by the natural mind, yet it has a whole new life for us. (2Cor 4:10-12)
Faith is action, and shifts the natural course. Our unusual lives are moved by the same heart. (Heb 11:33-39)
The harvest is not our project – but it is ours to ask. The results are the glory of God. Prayer holds our spiritual armor, and every Body member has a portion in it. (Mt 9:35-38, Eph 6:18-19)
